Commentaires du vendeur sur 1951' Bedford OB
One of the last OBs to be built. Operating on the Isle of Arran, Western Scotland. Acquired by me for preservation in 2000. Now garaged in Fife.
Structurally very sound and virtually complete. Has benefited from timber framework and body panel repairs or replacement. Mechanical repairs or replacements include engine/transmission, steering and brakes. Starts and drives well in all gears. Vehicle brakes and battery charging systems fully operational.
Wheels shot blasted and painted with replacement tyres fitted. All window glass present. Some yet to be fitted. Replacement main wiring loom fitted and interior partly rewired. Original spare wheel, wheel key and starting handle
Original seating material is worn but mainly serviceable. Replacement material required for the driver’s and rear seats.
Original fittings include sunroof, wind down windows, opening windscreen, destination screen mechanism, driver’s blind and a working clock.
Original registration number is on a V5C and fully transferable (recently valued at £3,000). Original buff logbook present.
May suit a private individual or enthusiast group looking for a relatively easy restoration project to complete, or a commercial operator seeking to upgrade and operate a vintage coach.
