1978 Alfasud 1.3 Super.

Early chrome bumper model. Superb overall condition. Looks great in Piper Yellow. Much recent mechanical work. Looks and drives excellent. Tax and MOT exempt although has a no advisory MOT to 23rd July 2020. The last four MOT’s have had no advisories.
In a previous ownership around 12 years ago it had a body and paint restoration including new front wings and front panel and some welding repairs. The main structural areas such as strut tops, frame mounts and suspension mounts look to be original. (There are multiple photos of the underside of the car). The work was obviously done to a very high standard proven by the still excellent condition of the car.
There are very few minor marks to the paintwork. Two to note are a couple of very small bubbles under the paint at the bottom of the offside rear arch and a small crack in the paint surface on nearside rear arch. (Photographed in close up).
All of the brightwork, door seals, screen rubbers and glass are in very good condition
The interior is really nice, not immaculate but very presentable. The top edge of the rear seat has had a repair.
Mechanically the car is excellent. The mileage recorded is 53,000, no proof of it being correct however the general condition of the car and in particular the interior suggests it is correct. It has had very little use since a previous owner fitted new radiator, front brake calipers, coil, dist cap, plugs and exhaust centre section (the rest of the exhaust is still good). The tyres are matching Firestones which have only done a few hundred miles and still look new. The spare is usable but the wheel needs a refurb.
It has just had a major service which included new cam belts and water pump, valve clearances, oil and filter, engine tune.
The result is a superb driving Alfasud, great ride quality, surprisingly quiet yet with that lovely boxer exhaust rasp, excellent handling and brakes.
A very rare car being a totally standard 1.3 Super four door. It is ready to enjoy.
