This Austin was purchased from Ivor Bleaney of the New Forest 7 years ago. During my ownership I have had the door cards and seats reupholstered in matching blue leather by Trimmania of Wokingham as the leather of the original seating was beyond repair. The gearbox was overhauled by Hardy Engineering at Leatherhead, whilst it was out of the car the clutch was relined and fitted with a new release bearing. The Engine runs well having been subject to a recent Decoke The electrics had previously been converted to 12 volt. I have fitted LED headlamp bulbs In addition to the semafore indicatord a set of descrete flashing indicators are fitted for safety in modern traffic conditions.The Chasis is solid and the bodywork is in good condition with minor blemishes only to be expected fo a vehicle that is 84 years old.
