Unique Bentley from the 30s with an incredible 8 liters displacement and a huge compressor!
This veteran is not a new special or conversion, as so many are currently offered on the Internet. These cars or bodies are ultimately designed and built on an old chassis, mostly from the 50's up to now hundreds. These new vehicles are not nearly comparable with this 8 liter Bentley compressor.
This Bentley 8 liter Compressor Veteran is a historic vehicle that was manufactured decades ago.
He has a great racing history and a lot of press.

One of only two built vehicles.
Bentley was purchased by Rolls Royce in 1931.
This original Bentley comes from a time when Bentley belonged to Rolls Royce.
The last picture shows the Rolls Royce Phantom 3 (3CM165). In the description / history one already finds the reference to the conversion of the engine into a Bentley "Racer" / Bentley racing car.
After Bentley was bought up by the competitor Rolls-Royce in 1931, the inventories also changed the owner. Rolls-Royce produced from 1933 the newly developed models 3.5 liters and 4.25 liters, to which no parts from this stock were compatible. In 1936/37 six Bentley 4 ½ liters were rebuilt as "RC-Series" from the spare parts, which had been stored for years, similar to the 3 liter model. However, they differed from the original workmanship, because the transmissions originated from the inventory for the Bentley 4 ½ liter compressor. The rear axles came partly from the compressor Bentley, partly from the Bentley 6 ½ liter. The front axles, on the other hand, were originally intended for the Bentley 4 ½ liter or for the 4 liter.
