For sale in our Denver showroom is a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Convertible. This rare Big Block 396 Bolero Red beauty will sure to turn heads anywhere you go. The first-generation Chevrolet Camaro appeared in Chevrolet dealerships in September 1966, for the 1967 model year on a brand-new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform and was available as a 2-door, 2+2 seat, hardtop (no "B" or center pillar) or convertible with a choice of six-cylinder and V8 power plants. The first-generation Camaro was built through the 1969 model year. In 1967, a Camaro RS/SS convertible with a 396 engine paced the Indianapolis 500.

This beautifully restored 1967 Camaro RS/SS convertible has: a rebuilt 396 Big Block Turbo Jet, Turbo 400 automatic transmission, 12 bolt Posi traction rear end, factory right side traction bar, power steering, power brakes, power convertible top, Spoiler package, factory rally wheels, Redline tires, black deluxe interior, Bolero Red paint with black nose stripe. She is a 4N coded RS/SS 396. The underside of this beauty has had the same attention to detail as the rest of the car. It was stripped down to the bare metal and undercoated. While adding polished aluminum oil and transmission pans. New exhaust and hardware. Just imagine dropping the top on this gorgeous Camaro and taking a few laps around the Indianapolis 500, with Mario Andretti and A.J. Foyt in your rear view mirror just before the green flag drops.
