The is a beautiful example of Jaguars Luxury Mark 9 Saloon Car registered in 1959. It is an original car and has been fully restored from ground up. This was the last of the Mark7/8/9 series which stopped in 1960. Larger 3.8 engine and break discs all round.

It is the last of the Mark 9 models with all the extras on board. Full disc brakes, power steering, sunroof, full red leather interior, Black and Ivory two tone colour scheme. Matching numbers Chassis 771123BW Engine NC2839-8. The 3.8 l engine has had a full rebuild and only done 3000 miles since. The Borg Warner 3 speed Automatic Gearbox has been overhauled and the gear ratio adjusted on the axle shaft. Cruises well on the modern open road.

This has been an Irish family car since 2006 when we bought from a collector during ill health. (15 years and 16,400 miles) The car is still got an Irish registration RYI 434, I keep it registered there and pay 56 Euros Road Tax as a classic car. The car was original owned in 1960 by the Director of O'Dea and Company, Dublin, then sold in 1963 and had 2 other Irish owners, it was bought by Mr CL Reed in Kent in 1999 and restored to original colours, it has matching numbers chassis and engine numbers. We bought to car from Mr Reed (my father in law owned this from 2006 to 2015 when I took ownership. Mileage when we bought the car was 11,976 and currently now 28,400. Full engine rebuild was done in June 2015 with 25,300 recoded miles. Hence 3000 miles since rebuild by Classics and Auto Sports in Scotland. ( £9412.00 cost).

The car is resided here in the uk and insured as such, always stored in warm garage and used on special days and events. Always been to Goodwood Revival for last 12 years. All receipts and invoices are available, along with original Buff Irish log book and a new replaced log book in brown buff style.

The car is serviced and worked on by Ken Bell in Guilford, ex original Coombs Jaguar works engineer. Fully serviced and running like a dream. Starts on the button and has an electronic 123 ignition system fitted, extra thermostatic cooling fan also in place.

Please look at the photos and contact me if you would like to see the car and history. This is a rare car today and any Irish motor enthusiasts it has that special history of being shipped and built in Ireland from Jaguar UK.
