1956' Jaguar Xk140 Dhc

UK car with original engine and gearbox.
Full nut and bolt restoration completed 15 years ago. It has overdrive. Everything is working as it should. It has a patina as you would expect from 15 years of careful use and storage. It is not concours but a very tidy and rust free useable car. Only modern upgrade is a supplementary electric fan. I find the drum brakes very good and don't see the point in losing originality by fitting discs.

light occasional use since restoration covering a couple of thousand miles or so. Original buff log book included. Documented restoration with photos and receipts including gearbox and engine rebuild. Original body and panels except for most of rear end. This car has been in my family for over 30 years.

I may consider taking a car as part ex, 1970s sports/supercar, citroen SM or DS, porsche 911, lotus.
