Mg Midget 1967 up for auction, sadly due to too little time to enjoy her....
Super little runner that has been loved, maintained and garaged consistently.
Here are some of the better points, immaculate hood, chrome bumpers in good condition, square rear arches and a lovely interior. When we bought her she came with 4 point harnesses which has been changed to "standard" belts. There is a rollbar fitted, but this can easily be unbolted and removed. Original Mg steering wheel and engine. Spare tyre.
Other points to note, speedometer is intermittent (probably need a new cable), but let's face it, you are probably not going to get caught speeding! Rev counter over reads and there is a crack in the passenger side area of the wind screen ( I do have a spare windscreen that will be included in the auction).
With regards to milage, the counter is showing just under 14000 miles and we are led to believe this was reset when the engine was rebuilt at some point.
The body work is in great condition even for a car of this age.
Just had the paperwork back from the insurance renewal and they (Lancaster Insurance) agreed to reinsure the car for £8000 AGREED VALUE.
