1949' MG Yt Tourer

This YT Tourer was built in 1949 at Abingdon and exported to Switzerland from new. Export models benefitted from the more powerful 55bhp EXPAG engine and more instruments. Recently fitted with hardened valve seats and a 5 speed gearbox (FORD SIERRA)

First registered in the UK in 1963, chassis YTEXRK 3374 has had few owners, good History file and has a current MoT test certificate to 27th November.

Restored in 1986 with a bare metal repaint in the original Vintage Green, the YT looks good today with no visible corrosion and good colour match.

Starting promptly, driving smoothly from cold with a quick warm up the MG is easy to drive with light steering on the 16" Avon Tourist cross ply tyres, smooth clutch and gearbox.
