For sale my 1965 triumph TR4A IRS with factory fitted surrey top and wire wheels. This is a uk rhd car which i have owned and cherished since 1992. this car has been maintained at a local triumph specialist garage, regardless of cost. Recent work includes a complete engine and cylinder head rebuild, new clutch, water pump and much more. Extras include, a stainless steel exhaust, a kenlow fan and a moto-lita steering wheel. There is much documented history with the car, including the original owners handbook. In 1985 the previous owner undertook a full body restoration, including new wings and sills and the car was professionally resprayed and rustproofed. The colour was changed from apple green to royal blue. Since 1985 the car has not been used in wet conditions or on salty roads and has always been garaged. The car has some small issues but nothing major. There is a small crease on the drivers door of a few inches but no paint splitting, the engine bay was left as apple green when the rest of the car was resprayed in 1985 and although the car rides really well, the suspension is getting a little tired. This tr4a is not concours but it is a really nice and straight example of genuine and appreciating british classic car with very good bodywork and mechanics. I am selling after all this time because busy family life means i just do not use it enough to justify keeping it. The car will be sold with a new MOT. I have tried to be as thorough and honest as i can and i am really happy to send any more pictures or information if required before anybody sets of to sunny Norfolk to see her in the flesh !
