1925' Wolseley Tourer Convertible

for sale this extremely 1927 11/22 E4 wolseley tourer convertible very rare nearly 100 years old survivor .it has got just one owner in UK and very well maintained as the car has been imported from Belgium few years ago and was belong to a vintage car's collector who owns museum where the car has been kept for many years . The car was then registered in Uk with british number plates transferable.This is completely original car from factory , has never been welded or repaired. The underside has never been under sealed etc. and is as it left the factory. The interior is also original as far as have been told by the previous keeper. It has always been kept dry! The windscreen cranks open and makes for fun driving in the summer and also the foldable top hood is in original condition with no rips or tears .In my few years of ownership I have refurbished important details such as the brake shoes which were relined and the cable brakes were checked and greased. The car preserves all its original features including all the usually missing small pieces like the starting handle cap, wheel jack and spare wheel All badges and chassis plates are original. All glass, including the lights, is also original 6v electric system. No part of the bodywork has been drilled for mirrors or accessories. They could be removed without a trace if required. The paint as far as i could see is mostly original. There is age related localised flaking but these areas have been touched-in with custom mixed, hand matched cellulose paint. As a result it looks remarkably fresh after almost century.The engine is a side valve 1300cc straight and was running fine before the fuel pump has developed a fault so the car at the moment is a non runner i have been looking everywhere for a original fuel pump but i am not able to find original part (dvla sorn ) . tyres have been replaced by the correct Dunlops supplied by Vintage Tyres of Beaulieu. I am a private classic car collector and have enjoyed it to the full, taking it to local shows and driving just for fun on sunny days. It always draws a crowd and drives very well even in modern traffic.Its incredibly rare to find such cars in similar condition , especially in wet climates like here in UK. They’ve all either been restored or are in need of total restoration. They’re only original once!Straight sale only please, I’m not interested in swaps or part exchange. I am trying to reduce my small collection as i need funds to buy a property.The car is located in Harlow Essex.it does not require any work also the car is mot /tax exempt cheap insurance around £70 per year .It is not concours obviously as the car is an unrestored car and should be left as it is.
