1967' Morris LD M30

Morris LD M30 wadham stringer fibreglass bodied ambulance. Registered 26/11/1967 ex central London ambulance service. Converted for street food . Thousands spent on conversion and re build including re spray. Rear fit out by Evo Composites Ltd BMC 2.5 Diesel engine. Twin batteries with isolator switch to totally immobilise vehicle. auxiliary battery in rear with charger and 240v inverter. 240v mains hook up lead. Unused refrigerator. Work surfaces , stainless steel slide door cabinet, sink, paper towel dispenser, side opening hatch, large opening roof hatch. Lots of mechanical restoration carried out inc - Engine re build , pistons and re bore, glow plugs, crank re ground and shell bearings, flywheel re ground, clutch, oil pump, injector pump, diesel lift pump and fuel hose, non return valve and CAV fuel filter housing , engine stop cable, timing chain, radiator, starter motor, alternator. Complete bespoke exhaust system.
Excellent chassis and all leaf springs have grease points at mounting points.
Wheels and tyres, brakes all round, brake hoses, brake pipes, prop shaft universal joints and new bolts nuts & washers. Stainless steel wiper arms as original. Aluminium pressed number plate.
Historic vehicle tax class and MOT exempt as over 40 years old. A real head turner and crowd puller.
Ideal as a quirky street food truck for sandwiches, coffee, or whatever you fancy.
Plenty of room for two people to work in the back with adequate headroom due to large roof hatch and excellent ventilation. Sliding dividing door between cab and back.
Interior is in brilliant white so very light and an excellent working environment. Interior lighting for night time .
