1965' Austin Gipsy G4

The Austin Gipsy Bodies were built and trimmed by Fisher & Ludlow, when finished the Final Painted and Trimmed Bodies were transported to Adderley Park in Birmingham for final assembly. The British Heritage Trust Factory Record confirms this Gipsy was built on the 19th of June 1964 and despatched to an Austin Dealer on the 29th of June 1964. Finished in Almond Green the Gipsy was specified with a Miles per hour Speedometer, Wet Battery, Bonnet Mounted Spare Wheel and Tyre, Heater, Extra Wiper, Petrol Engine, Soft Top, Rear Compartment Seating and Six Ply Tyres. The Gipsy started life as a Farm Goods Vehicle in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Now presented in restored condition and fitted with a New Original Old Stock 2178cc Diesel Engine. The Gipsy has a Fibre-glass Hard Top painted in Old English White with a lift up Upper Door and Drop Down Tail Gate. The Gipsy is also equipped with a heavy duty Tow Kit.
