1955' DAF 328 Artillery Tractor

These DAF 328's (note the VRN) were manufactured in Eindhoven between 1953 and 1958, 210 were made. It is powered by an Hercules 6 cylinder JXLD, 5. 5 litre, 132 hp side valve. 5 forward & 2 reverse gearbox, Maximum speed 50 mph, Vacuum/ hydraulic brakes, 24 volt, a winch is fitted. Weight is 6. 1 tonnes. Last photo is the 1st Dutch Army Corps.
Two new battery's were fitted last week. There is a set of Continental tyres in the back. Seats are good and the engine will start first time every time. The cross country ability of these DAF's can be seen on YouTube
