Seller's comments about 1949' Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Pinin Farina
- "Matching Numbers" - FIVA Pass, German street legal - Well documented - Suitable for Mille Miglia
Description:
From 1925 to 1953 Alfa Romeo produced the 6C model range. From the initial displacement of 1.5 litres, this was increased to 2.5 liters by the end of production. Most of the bodies of the 6C series were bodyworked by Ateliers Touring. Only a few cars got bodies from Pinin Farina.
After the war only 63 short wheelbase 2500 SS convertibles were produced.
This Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS was delivered to Venice in 1949. It still has its original engine (matching numbers). The restoration of this rare Alfa Romeo has only recently been completed. The history of the car is very well documented.
Engine: 2.5 liter 6 cylinder, 110 hp (factory specifications)
