Seller's comments about 1933' Alfa Romeo 8C

This stunning recreation of the legendary Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza Brianza was constructed in the 1980s by the Argentinian craftsmen now known as Iconic Auto Sports. The car spent time in Europe before being imported to the United States three years ago.

Built on an in-house fabricated chassis constructed according to the original Alfa Romeo blueprints, it features beautifully hand-formed aluminum coachwork faithful to the original Brianza-bodied Grand Prix racer, adapted for road use.

Power comes from an inline eight-cylinder Alfa Romeo engine that underwent a complete rebuild in Italy in 2019, and it is now in as-new condition. Additional features include an Alfa Romeo four-speed manual transmission, four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes, friction shock absorbers, red-painted 19 wire wheels, and a fold-down windshield paired with a Brooklands-style aeroscreen. The two-seat cockpit is trimmed in black upholstery, completing the authentic prewar competition aesthetic.

The sale includes invoices and photographs documenting the 2019 engine rebuild, along with a clean Florida title describing the car as a 1986 Alfa Romeo. The car is also eligible for registration in Europe, and all paperwork has already been completed-allowing it, if returned to Europe, to obtain a clean European title once again, making it eligible for classic rallies and races and fully legal for road use.
