Seller's comments about 1933' Austin 16/6 ‘Carlton’
Beautiful dark blue over black with attractive light blue coachlines. In previous ownership for 30 years during which time the engine was rebuilt, new radiator core, starter motor, fuel pump, all road wheels refurbished and respoked. New fuel tank fitted, rewired, Excellent tyres condition. Everything works as it should with exception of fuel gauge (I use a dipping stick) Original division with sliding glass. New leatherette seat coverings to front. Beautiful chrome work to exterior. Connolised leather to rear + two occasional seats. Fitted with flashing indicators and brake lights. This vehicle has been extensively used for film and television work, promotions and of course wedding hire and has proved to be very reliable. Superb condition throughout, starting easily, driving very well indeed, and stopping as well as can be expected from a car of this vintage. Strong support from the Vintage Austin Register including a good spare parts service. Any reasonable inspection and test drive invited. I will be pleased to answer any questions and discuss any aspects of the car. please note mileage is unwarranted P/ X considered - classic car or classic motorcycle WHY.
