Austin Healey 100/ 4 BN2 1956 with 100/ 4M modifications
This car has been in dry storage for many years (we believe from the 70s/ 80s) in Virginia were it was recently discovered.
The car is complete apart from a couple of parts and reasonably sound with no visible accident damage, the chassis is ok but will need repairs to the front right chassis rail the outer body panels are all re-usable and the shrouds are in good condition it will need work to floors / cills / dog legs and some other repairs, the engine turns.
The car appears to have original 100M Modifications and visibly includes 100M carburettors, air box, louvred bonnet, bonnet straps etc. We believe it is possibly one of the original american dealer modified cars, approximately 1200 P280m modification kits where made roughly half were fitted to factory cars and the rest supplied to dealers as kits to modify previously supplied cars
The car rolls and appears to select all gears, axles and suspension appear complete and functional.
The car comes with a Virginia tile a heritage certificate and a build sheet and Nova Certification showing all taxes paid and ready for a V5 application by the new owner.
We also have a hard top available with the car via separate negotiation as shown in the photos.
The car is located near Fordingbridge in Hampshire and inspection is welcome.
