Seller's comments about 1963' Austin-Healey 3000
Hello, I am delighted to offer for sale this magnificent 1963 austin healey BJ7. The vehicle has a lovely "cream" tint and black interior. Wire wheels, overdrive. Same owner for 10 years, serviced by a renowned British vehicle specialist. A survey from 2020 available, with a value set at 60, 000 euros.
17, 000 euros of invoices since purchase, including: Major maintenance of running gear, engine, gearbox, replacement of soft top, battery, hub bearings, exhaust, replacement petrol tank, sport clutch, carburettor adjustment, recent Lucas ignition, various check ups to resolve temperature, carburettor, running gear, etc. to ensure reliability.
The vehicle is stored in an enclosed, dry garage in winter, and is not driven. In spring, the vehicle is serviced and stored under a carport so that it can be driven regularly (but not enough). The appointment for the technical inspection is made and fixed for 20 May. The vehicle is not perfect, and let's put a selling price in line with its condition.
The underpinnings need to be stripped and painted (chassis or horn), and the engine needs a minor overhaul, with oil change, rocker cover gasket and replacement of a cracked vacuum hose. The bodywork is OK, as are the alignments. More detailed photos after a phone call. Hello, Delighted to offer for sale this beautiful 1963 austin healey BJ7.
