specialist in sports and classic vehicles in Lyon, offers for sale a 1967 Austin Mini Cooper MK1:We present a pure British symbol: a first-generation Austin Mini Cooper, first registered in November 1967. Shown in its red body with a white roof and a burgundy interior, our model sports a sporty look with its long overhangs, stickers and the addition of a three-point safety harness in the cabin.This MK1 is fitted with the original 998cc four-cylinder engine, numbers verified. It features two SU HS2 carburettors and develops 56 horsepower, all linked to a four-speed manual gearbox. It also features Hydrolastic suspension, developed by Alex Moulton. Many accessories and options have been added to this pocket rocket: Minilite-style aluminium wheels, SPARCO sports seats with a three-point harness, an LCB exhaust manifold, a stainless steel exhaust, long-range headlights with caps, stainless steel bumpers, and chrome mirrors. Thanks to the substantial file we hold, we have traced the car’s history and found that it has had only three owners since 2002.
