1949' Bristol 400

Built nov 1949 exported directly to melbourne australia. This much sought after solid rust-free much original example was repatriated by me in early 2018. it comes with a record of owners and details of work complete from 1950 to date and is well known to the boc australia. Chassis: 400/ 1/ 632: engine 400/ 85a/ 1458. a full engine rebuild in 2017 included 408 profile cam followers resulting in improved torque. A brake servo, electric fan and seat belts have been fitted. Recent work in uk includes 3 rebuilt su carburettors, new brake wheel cylinders, screw-on oil filter, re –upholstered leather seats, and door cards, new window rubbers, re chromed front bumper, doors and bonnet re painted. Fm radio cassette with 12v charging point. ( some spares come with the car including the original radio). overall paint has minor blemishes commensurate with its age. Bodywork is damage free with no signs of corrosion. Drives very well, has v5c and heritage certificate. Mille miglia eligible. Current mot.
