I am regretfully selling my Superb 1931 BSA Three Wheeler to fund a new project. This car was the subject of a nut and bolt restoration started some 10 years ago by two brothers, one a professional body fabricator and one a professional engineer. I bought the car 3 years ago as a 90% complete car and finished it to an extremely high standard as you can see. The original body, made of wood, fabric and aluminium, was deemed beyond repair so a sleek hillclimb style body was fabricated and looks amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. All frame components and wheels etc were stove enamelled and present as new. The engine, gearbox and differential were rebuilt and it has been converted to run twin carburettors. When I bought the car I had the official mechanic of the BSA Front Wheel Drive Club go over the car and he spent a couple of days making adjustments and deeming it mechanically perfect. In the meantime I re-wired the car using period looking fabric covered wire in the correct BSA colours. The Interior has been done in Leather and the detailing of the woodwork is superb. All gauges are correct and working.

DRIVING- This is where this car excels. Due to it's lightweight body and twin carb conversion it really moves out and has no trouble keeping up with modern traffic. What's more is it stops as well as it goes. The brakes really work with no fade nor requiring excessive pressure. Shifting up and down through the gears is also a doddle and, although non synchro, it goes in and out with minimal double declutching, a testament to the quality of the rebuild. The car is remarkably solid and has terrific road feel and manners when underway. The Vee Twin engine of just over 1 litre starts on the button and delivers terrific torque as well as a wonderful bark from it's Brooklands inspired exhaust system. There is loads of luggage space within the tail, accessed by folding down the setback.

This car is ready to drive and enjoy, needing nothing but a high spirited owner/ driver.
