Welcome to Oldie Point! We are always on the lookout for vintage and youngtimers! We look forward to your offer!
Here we present you a real "survivor" from the "golden times" of the USA, characterized by leather jackets and Rock 'N' Roll, built under the Buick car brand by General Motors (GM). The Special Series 40 hardtop coupe is characterized by a grille with narrow vertical chrome bars, framed by a massive chrome clasp, but above all by the two-door hardtop coupe body with no B-pillar and 6 seats, which gives this car a grandiose feeling of freedom. In 1953, the Special Series 40 was the only remaining Buick model with the Fireball 4.3 L, 120 hp inline 8-cylinder engine.
The example presented here was imported from the USA at the beginning of 2022, the individual approval and the historical typing from the State of Vienna date from September 2022. Even before that, in May 2022, the vehicle was extensively overhauled mechanically at MattzGarage in 2232 Aderklaa, including a dry ice Blasting and multi-layer sealing. The body mostly still has the original paint from 1953, which together with the lush chrome trim of this Buick now has a very nice patina. Commission sale on behalf of a customer
