1972' Buick Centurion

GREAT BONES!! Southern Automotive Consultants appraised this vehicle (September 19, 2016) as “solid” and advised that the highest NADA value for this car could be achieved simply with new paint and replacement top. Extensive minor bodywork is required but no significant defects were noted. The top has a small tear but the convertible frame is fully functional and the top is otherwise in good condition. Despite the smaller 350 CID engine, this car ROARS! (Serial numbers cannot be verified without hauling the engine, but it appears the original 455CID was replaced at some point, as indicated by the manufacturer label in the engine compartment.) It needs a new fuel pump, otherwise, mechanically sound. Though it was available as a factory installed option, the car does not have air-conditioning. My dad and I acquired this car with plans to restore it together but his wife’s recent (surprise!) pregnancy have left us with less money and time than previously expected! We are letting go for LESS than originally paid based on Actual Cash Value as indicated by the appraisal. Due to circumstances, however, this vehicle is being sold AS-IS and the buyer must arrange delivery of the vehicle at their own expense. Even in its current condition, this car is a real head-turner! It deserves a careful restoration.
