Seller's comments about 1957' Chevrolet Bel Air
This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air has the kind of sleeker style that instantly indicates this one is something special. And with upgraded small block power, an overdrive transmission, an updated suspension, a custom interior, and terrific details, it makes for an ideal cruiser. A color like maroon metallic instantly makes this car distinct. It gives you the distinction of red but with a deeper sophistication. And that metallic radiance is quite alluring. It sets a modern tone that is continued on the deleted badges, crystal clear headlights, and 17-inch Billet Specialties alloys give this classic the look of a modern cruiser. But of course, its the vintage pieces that you really like on this. Thats why the chrome front bumper/grille combo shines with distinction. And the full-length trim has a clean and straight style from the headlight all the way to the fan-like insert at the tailfin. The interior shows off more of the custom style. The exterior maroon returns for a uniform style, and now its joined by a tasteful tan. Its nicely detailed with the soft velour upholstery, billet-style handles, a smooth dash, and a terrific custom trunk with an awesome Tri-Five mural. There are provisions for some cool features like digital gauges, power windows, an upgraded stereo, and air conditioning. These will need servicing to function properly again. As you slip into the drivers seat, you can feel how this one likes to be a cruiser. After all, you have front bucket seats with an armrest center console in-between, a Lokar floor shifter, a polished tilt column, and a custom sports steering wheel that coordinates with the exterior alloys. The darker inner walls of the engine bay seem to really make the full polished presentation of the motor pop even more. So youll love showing off the valve covers, air grabber, pulleys, compressor, brake booster, and all the other details that radiate shine from a solid investment. More than just looking great, theres substance behind the style. This 350 cubic-inch V8 was built with go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and long tube headers feeding into a dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. This strong runner likes to be both powerful and a cruiser. For example, theres an upgraded 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission that has both a shift kit and overdrive. And the ladder bar and adjustable coilovers in the rear are welcomed upgrades for all driving. Plus, you have power steering, power brakes, and front discs for easy cruising. There are places you may want to invest like restoring the air conditioning, upgrading the tires, or adding your own personal touches. But the heart of the appeal is getting an iconic hardtop with the right upgrades to make it the kind of coupe you can enjoy the drive and show off everywhere. We arent able to definitively call this a Bel Air since it does have a non-original VIN tag and does not have a trim tag to fully confirm. Call today!!!
