Seller's comments about 1971' Chevrolet Chevelle

This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute has the upgraded look and components to be a serious pro street machine. And theres even a 555ci Merlin block thats a fresh professional build. But more than just a quarter-mile king, youll discover that this hardtop has the look of a blacktop bruiser, but still keeps the right attitude for a cruiser. These Chevelle hardtops are a legend for terrific muscle car looks with a wide front end, body-hugging bumpers, swollen fenders, and a fastback-style profile. And you can instantly see this Chevelle has taken that attitude a notch. The tall cowl hood looks like its containing a monster underneath (and it is.) And those Weld Racing wheels draw even more attention to the wider rear ones that show people where the power meets the pavement. Plus, there are the right upgraded details for a Super Sport such as white painted racing stripes, SS badges, hood pins, and blackout grille. The red paint has the right look for a performance muscle. Its an older application, and it gives the impression that this car is afraid of nothing. But overall, the way to really look at this car is like a Pro Street tribute. In that sense, it has the look of a street racer, and youll also see race-ready components and a terrifically powerful heart. Still, the rear end isnt tubbed and it hasnt been a regular at the local raceway. So you can easily turn this into a big-time quarter-mile king, but this coupe has really spent its time thus far as a cruiser. The interior keeps the custom sports car attitude going. The seats, carpeting, door panels, headliner, and dash have a deep/dark appearance. Superfluous items like the radio and heater have been deleted. Instead, you have competition-style pieces, like the RJS racing harnesses and a proper roll/race cage that all signal that this one wants to get down to speedy business. A B&M ratchet shifter, performance switchboard, and a full AutoMeter gauge package puts a very powerful package firmly in your hands. Under the hood is a true beast. And if this one looks particularly fresh and clean, thats because it is! We have a receipt from December 2021 from Mahdavi Motorsports documenting over $10k invested for a new motor and transmission service. This now has a 555 cubic inch V8 Merlin III block that has been custom built with Canfield aluminum heads, a 1050 Dominator four-barrel carburetor, nitrous plumbing, an Edelbrock Victor Jr. high-rise intake, roller rockers, Comps Cams camshaft, and custom pistons. It has all the right supporting components you want, too, like the fuel cell in the trunk and a big aluminum radiator with dual cooling fans. We even have a full receipt file that includes a parts summary that estimates $56k invested in components over the years. And you can really tell the difference in the level of features. For example, the 4-inch dual exhaust has long tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers for a gutsy sound, and there are also electric cutouts for true street machine thunder. And the TH400 three-speed is also a build by JW transmissions that includes a reverse manual valve body for proper control. It sends the power to a 12-bolt rear end with a 3.73 Mosier differential cover. Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, and Hotchikis suspension components complete a well-done professional package. This is the one with the upgraded stance, body, and motor in a package thats ready for some powerful fun. So you know you need to get your hands on this upgraded hardtop icon. Call today!!!
