This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is awesome classic Americana. And when you add in details like the numbers-matching V8, both tops, a cool red-on-red attitude, and the right investments, then you know youre looking at an irresistible classic A red Corvette is already appealing, and this one really loves to celebrate it to the fullest. You even have more red than many others with features like the added chin spoiler and color-matched accessory hardtop. There are some signs of responsible enjoyment in this cherry hue, because after all, Corvettes are made to be driven. But you can tell this has been under care all its life. In fact, this is believed to be a low-ownership car, and its on an actual miles title that has it averaging under 1100 miles annually. This Stingray not only celebrates red but also brightwork. This was the last year for the chrome bumpers, and you can tell there has been some added care to make sure the sharply pointed front and two-piece rear shine extra bright. And they are joined by a solid sparkle coming from the rally wheels, rockers, and accessory luggage rack. It makes for a total package thats all about making sure you want to hop in and go for a drive. While the hardtop has a terrific look, and theres a newer black folding roof, the best way to enjoy this Stingray is with no top at all. And when youre open to the world the red interior gives this C2 the look of a true full red-blooded American classic. This is the factory-correct interior color, and most of the interior fundamentals look like the original pieces. So theres some age here, and this convertible wears it with pride. But in true cruiser style there were investments and upgrades to make sure this remains inviting. It includes newer carpeting, an upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo, and the addition of cup holders. And of course, as a proper Corvette, there is a terrific drivers attitude. That means a grippy three-spoke sports steering wheel, a tilt/telescopic column, a large speedo and tach directly in front of you, and auxiliary readouts at eye level. Underneath the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch small block. This has a great stock look with the orange block, matching valve covers, and even the correct-style Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor. But this has also been treated to the right maintenance over the years. So its a strong running motor that makes a nice rumble from the upgraded dual exhaust. And the TH400 three-speed transmission is the right mix of stout construction and easy automatic shifting. Plus, you have four-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, and a fully independent suspension to all make this a great all-around driver. The sale comes the with owners manual and service manuals. A full red-blooded Stingray with a cool cruiser attitude makes for a terrific way to enjoy a proper American classic. Call today!!!
