Classic supercar with the powerful L-82 5. 7 litre V-8 engine, 232 PS, original L-82 lightweight aluminium intake manifold, original GM dual exhaust system with an extremely loud sound, GM Turbo-Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission, power steering, factory-installed Gymkhana suspension with reinforced front and rear stabilisers, new Koni Classic shock absorbers, rear control arms individually adjustable to optimise camber of the rear wheels, air conditioning, green-tinted glass, four disc brakes with four-piston calipers and power assist, electric windows, tachometer, right-hand side exterior mirror, flawless undamaged red interior trim, textile floor mats with Corvette logo, original Delco stereo system with refurbished cassette deck and four speakers, original electric motor antenna, high-gloss acrylic paint in Arctic White, original polished aluminium wheels, nearly new White Letter tyres 255-60-15, front spoiler, rear spoiler, original removable mirrored Targa glass roof, many more extras! The vehicle was delivered factory-fresh in 1981 by a Vienna GM dealer. It has been part of the private car collection of Artur M. Riekmann for 40 years and remains in unmodified original condition. The only concession to usability was the replacement of the original Goodyear Eagle GT tyres from 1980, which had been mounted on the car until April 2020. For safety reasons they were replaced with new White Letter tyres 255-60-15, although the tread depth remained more than sufficient. The original exhaust system with the engraved original replacement part numbers is also still on the car and in good condition!The particularly well-maintained car has always been garaged, was serviced annually according to factory instruction, and was used only in good weather, just like the other 12 cars that were registered on four different number plates in parallel. This gives the vehicle an extremely low mileage for its age of only 43, 518 kilometres.The Corvette of the C3 generation undoubtedly ranks among the most beautiful classic high-performance sports cars ever built. In any case, the Corvette in the supersport category is the easiest to maintain anyway. The technology is particularly reliable and simple to structure, parts are incredibly affordable and fully available.
