This car was owned by a true Chevrolet Enthusiast and long Time Family Friend. He began a very meticulous and detailed restoration of this vehicle in the late 70's and upon its completion he and his wife traveled the the country in their new motorhome with the 39' in tow to numerous shows and events. His labor of love paid off in 1980 when the vehicle won the coveted National First Prize from the Antique Automobile Association of America. After several years and many thousand miles of traveling to events they returned home and the 39' took a place of prominence in his climate controlled display facility in Northern Kentucky. This vehicle became his prized possession and always was the center of conversation when folks stopped by. I have a list of it's many awards and wins along with a picture album detailing the restoration. I have personally inspected this vehicle to be one of the nicest original restorations I have ever seen and it's hard to believe it was done over 40 years ago and the car is still virtually flawless.
