Seller's comments about 1946' Chevrolet Stylemaster
STORY A "handful" or only 4,267 vehicles of this two-door business coupé (model 1504) left the factory in 1946. As the successor to the Master Deluxe, it placed itself in the upper middle class of passenger cars, which technically and stylistically corresponded to the pre-war counterparts.
This collector's vehicle is equipped with a continuous bench (for 3 people), a manual three-speed gearbox with steering wheel gearshift and the legendary "Stovebolt" unit as the heart. The in-line six-cylinder engine is known for its extremely smooth running and gives the vehicle a noticeable lightness - also due to the significantly lower weight.
An additional sunshade, searchlights, yellow fog lights, Firestone whitewall tires with lowered chassis and a striking red paint finish make the Chevy the proverbial “style master”.
