This 1951 Chevrolet 3100 Suburban Carryall has been upgraded with a woody-like style, small block V8 power, an overdrive transmission, cold-blowing A/C, and an all bucket seat interior. And yet it still never loses that distinctive vintage flair that makes it so attractive. We know you likely have never seen something like this before because there is a terrific custom style with plenty of rarity. The face of Chevys Advanced Design pickups is iconic. The bright Art Deco grille, alligator hood, chrome bumpers, and two-piece windshield make this instantly recognizable. But while the trucks are on the classic car scene a fair bit, we rarely lay eyes on a Suburban. And while the body is already distinctive, this one turns it up a few notches with custom style. There has been a partial repaint within the last few years to make sure the curvy fenders really shine in the sunlight. Theres custom pinstriping on the fenders, tinted windows, and cool dark chrome Coys alloys with a stylish 17/18 inch front/rear stance. And we cant miss the textured wood trim thats grabbing all your attention! The trim is actual wood while the center pieces are actually painted on! So the care and maintenance are as easy as the rest of the sheet metal. But an upgraded classic like this can also still be quite handy. The large rear barn doors and proper tow hitch with trailer brake should get your mind thinking about everything from tailgating to a great vehicle to showcase your product/business. Inside is a well-done package that nicely mixes plenty of upgrades with some vintage style. For example, you still have the classic Chevrolet dash with a smooth style, classic gauges, and bright Art Deco trim. But this one also likes to deliver the same kind of comfort youd get in a more modern Suburban. Theres good carpeting, full fabric door panels, and everyone gets a bucket seat and plenty of legroom. And everyone also stays happy with an AM/FM/cassette stereo and a recent upgrade to cold-blowing air conditioning and a shut off valve in the engine compartment for summer heat shut off at the heater hose.. Plus, there are nice features only for the driver. Your seat power adjusts, theres a Lokar floor shifter, and the banjo-style steering wheel is on a tilt column. Under the hood are more great upgrades. This Suburban was built before Chevys mighty small block V8 era, but now this has been upgraded to a 305 cubic-inch unit. It has been further enhanced with an Edelbrock AVS2 four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and headers. Some additional information provided by the consignor includes 192 H.O. heads with modified valve job, rebuilt engine with estimated 3000 miles and rebuilt trans with 350 miles, bung welded in for optional Fuel Injection, Dual gas tanks with a 1969 Camaro tank in rear with optional EFI fuel return to install Fuel Injection at a later date. It fires up nicely like this one is ready to hit the road. Thats why it also has nice driving features like an upgraded independent front suspension, rear air shocks, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and modern touring tires. Plus, the 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission has highway-friendly overdrive so you can enjoy this Suburban on trips near or far. Complete with the owners manual, you get rarity and distinction in a package built for cruising. So you know you dont want to let this Suburban slip away. Call today!!!
