1929' Chrysler Business Coupe

For 1929 the entry level Chrysler was now the Series 65, and came with a six-cylinder engine that offered 65 BHP. They were available as a Roadster, Tourer, 2- and 4-door Saloon, 5-window Coupe, and a Business Coupe. Pricing ranged from $1065 to $1150. Standard equipment included Lockheed internal hydraulic brakes and hydraulic shock absorbers, very advanced for the time.
New this year was an ignition keyhole which replaced the old switch type. There were now bowl shaped headlights, silver and black finished instrument panels, and arched windows. Chrysler produced 4,655 Business Coupes in the year 1929 and very few of the Model 65 Business Coupes are left
Believed to be a one-family owned vehicle imported into the UK by a US serviceman. The car benefits from a comprehensive restoration and has been converted to 12 volts for ease of use. Recent work includes re-upholstering and extensive reconditioning of the artillery wheels.
