When you drive a Morris Cowley from 1930, you don't just get into a car - you step into another time. This rare Six-Light model belongs to the sought-after Flatnose generation, built from 1926 to 1931, and has all the charming details that make British pre-war vehicles so distinctive. The car is in great, lovingly restored condition and is for sale from a classic car collection. It is powered by a 1,548 cc in-line four-cylinder with side valves and magneto ignition. It is started in style using a crank or electrically with the starter. The robust three-speed gearbox works cleanly, and as is usual with this model, the rear drums brake with two separate pairs of brake shoes - one of which is directly connected to the handbrake. Remarkably advanced for its time: triple safety glass ex works. The Cowley has a historic Slovenian registration, is right-hand drive, has the elegant suicide doors and rolls on original wooden spoke wheels, which perfectly round off the nostalgic appearance. The name "Six-light" stands for its total of six windows - two on each side and two in the rear area. The then new all-steel bodies and the significantly improved equipment compared to its predecessor make this model a particularly sought-after classic car today. The originally typical bullnose radiator was replaced in this generation by the more contemporary flat radiator - a detail that marks the transition from the early to the modern automobile era. Anyone who encounters this Morris Cowley immediately feels: Here you are living the past - and can start again at the push of a button (or in the proper style with the crank). There are also two other vehicles (Hudson Super Six 1928 and Ford Model A 1930) from the collection for sale, see last two pictures in the photo gallery. *****************************************There are also other pre-war classics for sale: Riley 12 HP Sprite 1937 (12/4 Special), a Talbot Seventy-Five M75 C (6 cyl.), a Ford Model A 1931 (Deluxe Sedan) and a Willys Overland 1929 (Touring Model 91) ***************************************** Purchase price: € 26,600 vehicle location: Near Marburg (International vehicle transport possible) The vehicles we offer are with the owners and are still being driven.
