The Citroën Type C, a small car produced between 1922-1926 in almost 83,000 units, was the second model marketed by André Citroën. The little Citroën was ahead of the competition: it was equipped with a differential and an electric starter, so the car was advertised as particularly suitable for women. The top speed was 60 km/h with a fuel consumption of 5 l/100 km. The first color in which it was delivered was yellow, which gave it the first nickname “petit Citron” (little lemon). The nickname “Trefle” (cloverleaf) referred to the shape of the seating arrangement on the three-seat version.
This beautifully restored example dates from 1925 and was first registered in France. The vehicle was imported to Austria in 2000 via a detour lasting several years in Germany. There are corresponding documents about this vehicle history. Extensive documentation on the vehicle type was also compiled over time in a thick folder. Invoices from the last few years are also included. The vehicle is equipped with an electric fuel pump, which ensures greater reliability in operation. Commission sales on behalf of customers
