** Citroen ** Maserati** The only car born from the collaboration, born at the end of the 1960s, between two historic brands: Citroen and Maserati. This was possible because, in 1968, Citroen acquired the majority of Maserati from the Orsi family. The initial goal was to create a prestigious flagship ("S" project) that would overcome the power limits of Citroën engines of the time. ** The designers included the powerful 2.7 lt. V6 Maserati, with around 170hp, inside an imposing coupe full of the technology that was the pride of Citroen in those years. In fact, we find the self-levelling hydropneumatic suspensions, the DIRAVI *** steering system with automatic return to the central position and progressive hardening, as well as the directional headlights: the two innermost ones are connected to the steering wheel: they physically rotate to illuminate the inside of the curve.
