Seller's comments about 1933' Continental Ace

NOTE: This is not an ACE, but rather a BEACON! Continental Motors, a leader in early 20th century engine manufacturing, produced complete cars for only two years: 1933 and 1934. The company only produced three models, and only made this particular model in 1933. Continental made just over 4,000 of the original Beacon. Almost 90 years later, there are only a handful of Beacons that still exist anywhere in the world (likely less than 5 coupes world-wide)! The Beacon came from the factory with suicide doors, counter arrange rear leafs, and had many innovations for the time.  The unique flared body sets this apart from fords of the time period, and due to its rarity, is truly always a conversation piece at any car show.
This exciting 1933 Continental Beacon coupe was purchased as an original frame and original steel body in the 1970s out of Michigan, restored as a hot rod by the current owner and his father.
Some features include: -small block Chevy 350 engine backed by TH350 transmission,
-Ford 9inch rear-end
Wilwood Master cylinder with 4 wheel disk brakes
Custom Mustang 2 front end
Holley Sniper Throttle body Electronic Fuel Injection system.
This Beacon has been serviced and maintained by the owner. Great care was taken to restore and maintain this car over the years. The vehicle is mechanically sound and drives, but has been sitting for a decade without regular use (a few low mile trips <25mile trips over the past 5 year to occasional car shows). Paint is worn and in need of attention. There appears to be minor surface rust in some spots (car lived most of its life in Nevada desert and Southern California until recently), and paint has few cracks in the paint from age. The transmission leaks due to sitting and old seals that should be serviced. Interior is in great shape. Custom headliner, carpet, seats, and flame detailed door panels are all great shape and well maintained.
Open to a equitable trade, so let's chat about what you have! Particularly interested in a Jeep or class Land Rover.
