Seller's comments about 1926' Daimler 25/85 Limousine
Founded in 1893 for the exploitation of Gottlieb Daimler's patents in Great Britain, the "Daimler Motor Syndicate" quickly became independent. One of the first English Daimlers having been acquired by the Prince of Wales, the brand was until the 1950s the exclusive supplier to the Crown. Flexibility and silence will always have priority, hence the choice of engines without valves and then of the "fluid flywheel" (hydraulic coupler), but from 1930 onwards, lighter and more efficient models appeared. This is a 1926 example.
Undergoing a rebuild, new brakes will be supplied, but will require further restoration.
