3172703The DKW F 8 is a small front-wheel drive car from the DKW brand that Auto Union brought onto the market in February 1939 as the successor to the F 7 model. Like all DKW front cars (protected name), the DKW F 8 was built in the Audi factory in Zwickau. Due to the war, after around 50,000 vehicles had been built in 1942, the appearance of the F 8 was hardly changed compared to its predecessor, but the bodies were slightly longer and wider with the wheelbase shortened by 1 cm. As before, the offer consisted of the simpler and less powerful model Reichsklasse and the better equipped Meisterklasse. The car was powered by the two-cylinder two-stroke engine (parallel twin) with a cord already used in the F 2 Meisterklasse 701 and installed transversely at the front -Reverse flushing and two overflow channels. The engines produced 18 hp in the Reich class with 06 liter displacement and 20 hp in the master class with 07 liter displacement, each at 3500 revolutions per minute. Compared to its predecessor, the stroke of the 06-liter engine was increased by 75 mm. Subject to prior sale and errors.
