Description:

The Ferrari 512 BB was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1976. The 512 Berlinetta Boxer was the revised successor to the 365 GT/4 Berlinetta Boxer. The main feature of the 512 BB was the twelve-cylinder engine, which had a displacement of 5 liters. The engine offered the same low-speed performance, better torque and smoother power delivery than the previous version. The body, designed by Pininfarina, differed only slightly from the previous model. However, some changes were not only aesthetic in nature, but also helped to cool the engine better.

929 copies were made between 1976 and 1980.

The Ferrari 512 BB presented here was first delivered in Italy in 1977. A few years ago, the car was extensively revised in Italy by renowned Ferrari specialists on a first-class basis and repainted in its original delivery color “Argento Auteuil Metallizz”. Following the restoration, the vehicle received a Ferrari Classiche certificate. Extensive photo and invoice documentation of all work carried out is available. The engine and gearbox have currently been completely overhauled at Ferrari Rothe in Hamburg. This Ferrari 512 BB with a low mileage of just 40,452 km is in first-class condition.

Description:

At its debut at the Paris Show in 1976, the 512 BB was equipped with a 5-liter version of the 12-cylinder boxer. The new engine proved a great success, giving the same power at lower revs, better torque and a smoother delivery than the earlier version in the 365 GT4 BB. The Pininfarina coachwork differed only slightly from the previous model in certain details which not only made it look even more elegant but also helped improve engine cooling.

Between 1976 and 1980 there were 929 examples built.
