Seller's comments about 1973' Fiat 850 Coupe

Fiat 850 Sport Coupé from 1973, the last series—the most sought-after—though not just because of its 903cc capacity and, of course, the increase in power to 52 hp. It’s also down to the aesthetic upgrades, which make it decidedly more appealing: not just a family car, but a proper sports coupe. The addition of twin front headlights and the new rear-end shape make it look more aggressive and more ‘sporting’. What can I say about this example of a Fiat 850? It’s a car that hasn’t been mistreated over the years; in fact, a conservative restoration has just been carried out, keeping as much of the original character as possible. Obviously the paint couldn’t remain untouched for all these years—especially dark colours like Bordeaux red—and the mechanical side has been reviewed too: the running gear, in other words brakes, suspension and tyres, with an overall check, so you can drive it with full confidence and safety. For lovers of original number plates, here it is with its period plates and registration document—although I’d focus more on its excellent state of preservation, enhanced by a restoration that has simply refreshed it, because at its core it was already a beautiful Fiat 850 Sport Coupé.
