1927 Ford Roadster - Titled as a 1927 Ford - GM 2.5L V6 - 350 Turbo Automatic Transmission - Yellow Paint over Brown Leather Interior - Florida Car - Power Brakes/Front Disc Brakes - Fast and Fun With their exciting, racy styling, Track T roadsters are some of the most recognizable hot rods in American automotive history. Featured here is a great example that turns heads wherever it goes. The build was based on the Speedway Track T kit. These high-quality bodies and suspension have a great reputation for providing a solid foundation for serious street rod projects. Builds based on these kits have been featured in national magazines such as Hot Rod and Street Rodder. The finish on this Roadster is well applied and shines with a deep luster. The fiberglass body is a one-piece design with firewall and non-functioning doors featuring a custom track style nose. The grill is a highly polished cast aluminum unit and the round chrome light buckets with sealed beam headlights give this build a vintage hot rod look. The aluminum side panels cover the frame and have been well maintained and polished. The tubular frame features a triangulated four-bar chromed front suspension with a drop style axle with four leaf spring. The rear features ecliptic springs and panhard bar. Braking comes from power front disc brakes and rear drums. The whole set-up rolls on wire steel wheels and era correct Firestone tires further supporting the 40s/50s theme of this rod. The engine is a 2.8 litre V6 topped with a Holley carburetor and aluminum intake and tube headers. Other features under the hood include Mallory ignition, chrome valve covers, alternator and electric radiator fans to keep this hot little set up as cool as it looks. The engine is peppy and responsive with the power transferred into a GM 350THM automatic transmission where the power hits the pavement through a Ford Pinto rear differential. The engine has a nice rumble through the dual exhaust pipes and Magnaflow mufflers. The brown Naugahyde upholstery is fitted over fiberglass seat and interior frames, with custom fitted brown carpet. The interior presents well with little wear. The custom wood dash with aluminum flame bezel is fitted with Auto Meter Vintage beige gauges. The billet tilt steering column is topped with a banjo style steering wheel with wood rim giving the interior a custom yet vintage look. This hot rod kit is well sorted, and fast.
