This was imported from South Africa and a UK registration has been applied for and sholud be with us very soon, holding deposit will be accepted until the full registration is received, the vehicle will have a period correct number plate and tax/ mot exempt.
Here we have a nice looking cortina mk3 pickup in yellow that is in good condition with only 47921 km = 29776 mls on the clock. these pickups were only available in south africa so are pretty rare over here and are a great looking truck
Mechanics
this has got the desirable 2. 5 V6 engine/ manual gearbox that starts and runs ok although we have tested this around our yard and has that V6 roar, the clutch needs doing and the engine is somewhat smokey
As with all our imports we recommend going over the car and just double checking the usual stuff brakes etc, as the vehicle is approaching 45+ years old.
Bodywork/ Exterior
exterior is nice and straight a few marks consistant with age, rear tub is all in good nick
Engine bay is in good condition, solid inner wings, wing rails
Pillars, arches, sills are all fine,
Chassis rails all good but cab outer edge floors n/ s & o/ s need replacing/ repairing

alloy wheels are expensive as they are centre bolt on type, with very expensive bolt on centre lock conversion kit which is easily removable if desired

Interior
Good condition black vinyl seating
Door cards all good.
Headlining is good with no rips or damage.
Dash top is ok
So overall a nice clean ford Cortina pickup that needs a little work which could be ready to go on the road fairly easy
