For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a very well documented 1947 Ford Coupe. Much care and consideration was taken when completing this exquisite build. Just over 2,300 miles has been put on this 47' Ford since the build was complete. Options for this 1947 Ford Coupe include: Vintage Air Heat and Air Conditioning, Kenwood AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Hub Caps, Power Steering, Tilt Wheel, Custom Leather Interior, and Raised White Letter Radial Tires. The 350 CID 385 horsepower V8 engine that powers this 47' Ford was purchased from Summit Racing, and features aluminum heads, an aluminum intake, and a Holley carburetor. An aluminum radiator has been put in place to cool the mighty V8 with the utmost efficiency. Ceramic coated headers flow to the 2.5" stainless exhaust, which feature MagnaFlow mufflers, and supply an excellent sound. A professionally built 700R automatic transmission, that was designed for the street, handles the power and shifts it to the 10 bolt rear end. Initially, the drum brakes were rebuilt, later when the new engine was installed, front disc brakes were added to provide the proper stopping power for the for the 385 horsepower 350 V8. The frame that was utilized in this build began its life as a 68-72 GM mid-sized car, most likely a Chevelle. This frame was chosen for it's ability to be easily modified to fit the fat fender Fords, it's safe and comfortable ride, and the readily available parts that may be needed in the future. Vintage Air heat and air conditioning has been installed to keep the occupants comfortable no matter the time of year. Peak in the door of this Ford Coupe and you will see the rich brown custom leather interior that perfectly accents the beautiful black exterior paint. A Banjo mahogany steering wheel stands out from the dash that looks mostly original until the key is turned and the digital dash lights up. An Ididit steering column with tilt wheel makes for easy entrance and exit for the driver of this classic Ford. Walking around the outside of this Ford you see the chrome trim is in great condition, as is the paint. The favorite part for most on this build is the hard to find 1946 Ford hood emblem, protruding from the center bulge of the hood, and representing the 8 cylinder prowess.
