Ford Escort Mk2 1. 6 L 1976 RHD 4 speed manual
This was imported from south africa but is now UK registered and has a period correct issued registration number,
V5 is in my name/ address
vehicle is M. O. T & TAX exempt
Here we have a really nice looking ford Escort in its original color metallic Jade green, only 63008 km on the clock.
Mechanics
1600 crossflow engine/ manual gearbox starts and runs, although we have only tested this around our yard it drives really nice. the previous owner has spent a lot of money on engine overhaul(ask for details)
As with all our imports we recommend going over the car and just double checking the usual stuff brakes etc, as the vehicle is approaching 45+ years old.
Bodywork/ Exterior
Engine bay is in clean and in great condition, solid inner wings, wing rails
Pillars, arches, sills are fine.
Bodywork looks in good condition but its not a new car its is 40 yrs old and will have had some bodywork repairs etc, chassis and all floors are in very good condition.
Interior
nice black cloth seats with green piping in really Good condition throughout
Door cards all good, no speaker holes.
Headlining is good with no rips or damage.
Dash top is good
So overall a nice clean looking ford Escort in a lovely colour which is ready to be enjoyed
