Its also a well-done drivers package with a sports steering wheel, an Ididit tilt steering column, and classic-style AutoMeter gauges with speedo and tach. The engine bay continues this trucks custom style. The smooth black inner walls showcase the polished components of the V8 in the middle. At the heart is a Chevy 283 cubic-inch V8. We like the GM addition in a Ford like this because these hardy small blocks love upgrades. This one includes a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and shorty headers feeding the sweet-sounding dual exhaust and Flowmaster resonator mufflers. As you look underneath, youll spot the strong TCI chassis and an upgraded Mustang II-style front end with tubular A-arms. It makes for a stronger and more confident feeling on the road. And the four-speed automatic transmission has overdrive to make it great for trips near or far.
