Exterior It's rare to see an original solid steel body with an un-chopped top and rumble seat. Features a steel '32 Ford grille, Rootlieb hood with '32 style hinges, running lights, and a genuine "Ahooga" horn. Prior to the application of the custom Orange and Brown paint, the body was stripped of all trim and the original roof was filled in with steel. Dual fuel tanks (fuel gauge toggles to each tank). Chrome trim and bumpers are in remarkable condition.
Interior The brown velour bench seat interior is accompanied by the factory dash filled with a full custom set of gauges, AM FM stereo, AC, tilt steering column, and Gennie shifter and parking brake. The seat, door panels, and carpet show very nicely with no rips, tears, or stains.
Engine and Driveline Power is by a by a Buick 231 cu. in. V6, equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold, topped with a 390 CFM Holley carburetor, custom steel tube headers, custom radiator shroud, and "puller" electric fan. A GM TH 350 automatic transmission, and Ford 8" rear end bring up the rear. A TCI chassis is fitted with a Fatman Fabrication IFS Suspension unit, and front disc and rear drum brakes.
Wheels and Tires Chrome wheels with Ford "dog dish" hubcaps are mounted on "big and littles" black wall radial tires.
Includes black fender bra and headlight covers. According to the owner, he has loads of receipts and other documentation for this awesome street rod.
