1931 Ford Model A, 4 Cylinder Flathead 201 cubic inches, side valves. Horsepower: 40. Very original engine and drivetrain. Updated with many modern but original style parts with 3 Speed Manual Transmission Stone Brown with a tinted shade of tan, over black fenders with black stripes and darker moldings creates great contrast to the car from bumper-to-bumper. Cowl lamps, dual tail lamps, vertical trunk rack to secure the spare. Beautiful convertible top in excellent working condition. The cars design features include fixed side window frames combined with a convertible top. Some Premium luxury car features. The interior has correct dark brown with the slightest rose tint, pleated artificial leather, complemented by black carpet on the floor. It has the new-style instrument cluster and vacuum windshield wipers introduced earlier in the year. Beautiful brown door panels. Has a fully functional rumble seat!!! Somewhat rare option. Most of the rumble seats were taken out, or already gone from the car. For 1930 - 1931 Henry Fords Model A was modestly redesigned. The hood line was raised. Smaller, 19-in. wheels let the car ride lower. This gave the roadster convertible a sportier and jauntier look. The Convertible Sedan was introduced in the last year of Model A production. The aesthetic talents of Henry Fords son, Edsel undoubtedly influenced this cars sophisticated European looks. The car was deliberately styled to look like an 8/10th scale baby Lincoln. The cars design features included fixed side window frames combined with the convertible top. Two separate pieces create the front bumper. Single across the car mounted Lee spring front suspension. Manual brakes. Straw - colored wheels mounted with Universal whitewalls.
