The first encounter with this Mustang feels a bit like strolling in the park and coming across a dog owner with a guard dog. Despite the assurances, “he’s totally harmless and just wants to play,” the tension won’t ease. At the latest after turning the ignition key, it becomes clear that the tension won’t ease either. The audible backdrop is reminiscent of the rumble of an earthquake or the start-up of a fighter jet, and it seems quite capable of bringing buildings to collapse. AMG drivers widen their eyes and quarrelsome neighbours have nothing left to object with. Apart from that, you know at home, even without a prior call, when the office will be left and come for dinner. The power pulling at the rear wheels requires an experienced driver, because it’s no accident that Ford bears the Mustang name, the horse known for quickly throwing off poor riders.
