A very good example of a 1968 Ford Mustang powered by a 289 Small Block V8. Imported from US in 2019 this Mustang was apparently gifted to the last owner in the U. S. from his grandmother who purchased the car new. Originally Vintage Burgundy, it was repainted in the U. S. and the low mileage of 22, 800 miles is believed to be genuine. The car has a wonderful and very complete interior, really good fitted carpeting, excellent headlining original steering wheel and switchgear, clear instrumentation, original Ford radio and all electrical equipment functions correctly. It is now equipped with a Thatcham approved tracker/ immobiliser. On the exterior the radiant blue paintwork has no major scratches or chips, very common small area of bubbling to bottom of passenger door, sparkling straight chrome bumpers a degree of pitting to door handles and rear light trim, great windows, lights, mirrors, trim and badges, clean undersealed floor and sound looking structure, excellent 15” chrome wheels with Pony logos (one has a little corrosion), BF Goodrich tyres with decent tread depth (some inner wear to O/ S/ F due to poor alignment which has now been corrected)
