It was machined and assembled buy a nationally known Ford race engine builder in Maryland . The crankshaft, rods, and pistons are all forged steel and balanced to over 9000RPM. It also has a maincap girdle to support the maincaps at high rpms. Also has a custom high volume high pressure oil pump. The man I bought the motor from had it custom built to race but never use it, so it was new when we put it in. He had over 8800.00dollars in parts and machine work. The heads are 289 Hipos with bigger valves and porting. The Milodon oilpan holds 8 quartst, the camshaft is a good high profomace street unit from Comp Cams, the carburator is a 650cfm Holley Double Pumper 4150.
